Baked Sweet Pie Shell



  1. Preheat oven to 475°.
  2. Make sweet pastry for a 9-inch one-crust pie.
  3. Place pastry in a 9-inch pie pan, pressing firmly against the bottom and side.
  4. Prick the bottom and side thoroughly with a fork.
  5. Bake until light brown, 8 to 10 minutes; cool.
