Banana Bread


For  Single Recipe    (Makes 1 Loaf of Bread)

Butter and Sugar to be Creamed:

Eggs to be Beaten In:


Dry Ingredients:

Optional Walnuts:


  1. Generously grease standard loaf pan(s); set aside.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°.
  3. In a large work bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy in texture.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time.
  5. Remove skins from bananas.
  6. Place bananas on a plate and coarsely mash with a fork.
  7. Add mashed bananas to work bowl and mix in.
  8. Add dry ingredients and mix in on low speed. Once incorporated mix on medium-high speed for 30 seconds.
  9. Add optional walnuts and mix in.
  10. Pour batter into greased loaf pan(s).
  11. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes. Bread is done when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  12. Remove from oven and cool on racks.
  13. Turn out and serve or wrap in foil and refrigerate or freeze.
