Buttercream Frosting



  1. Cream butter and cream cheese until light and fluffy; do not over beat.
  2. Add vanilla, milk, and powdered sugar.
  3. Beat until frosting has a smooth spreading consistency.
  4. Recipe fills and frosts two 9-inch layers, 24 cupcakes, or a 13 x 9-inch oblong cake.


Note: If you are frosting cookies add at least 1 extra tablespoon of milk so that the frosting is very thin in spreading consistency. It will go on the cookies more like a glaze.

Use buttercream frosting to frost spice cupcakes, sugar cookies, or banana cake.
