Butterscotch Drops


For  Single recipe    (2½ Dozen Cookies)

  1. Preheat pure convection oven to 375°. If you are using a standard oven preheat to 400°.
  2. Grease cookies sheets and set aside. Click here to learn more about how to grease cookie sheets.
  3. Cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Mix in egg, buttermilk, and vanilla.
  5. Mix in dry ingredients.
  6. Mix in optional chopped walnuts.
  7. Mix in butterscotch chips.
  8. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2-inches apart on the greased cookie sheets.
  9. Bake until almost no indentation remains when touched, approximately 8 to 10 minutes.
  10. Immediately remove from cookie sheets and cool on a rack.
