Creamy White Pizza Sauce


For  Single recipe    (Makes 2 cups)


  1. Using medium-low heat melt butter in a medium saucepan.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  3. Add flour to butter and garlic.
  4. Whisk in flour until bubbly.
  5. Whisk in milk
  6. On medium heat, cook and stir milk mixture until thickened, about 1 minute.
  7. Stir in salt and black pepper.
  8. Turn off the heat.
  9. Add chopped basil to sauce.
  10. Stir in the Parmesan and allow to melt.
  11. Follow recipe for Chicken, Bacon, Garlic, and Basil White Pizza and spread 1½ cups of the sauce onto the pizza round.


Use immediately or refrigerate.

Will keep in the refrigerator for a couple of days.
