French Toast




Egg and Milk Mixture:



  1. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or skillet on medium-low to medium heat.
  2. Whisk eggs, milk, cinnamon, and nutmeg together in a pie pan or shallow baking dish.
  3. Dip each slice of bread in the egg mixture until thoroughly saturated.
  4. Place bread on griddle without crowding.
  5. Cook until the underside is golden brown.
  6. Using a pancake turner, flip the bread over and cook until the second side is golden.
  7. Serve immediately or keep warm in a 200° oven.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar.
  9. Serve with butter and maple syrup.
