Fried Green Beans

  1. Wash green beans.
  2. Remove tips and cut green beans in half.
  3. Steam green beans for 9 minutes.
  4. Heat oil in large skillet on medium-high (cast iron is great for this).
  5. Add beans, garlic, salt, and black pepper to skillet.
  6. Cook beans for 5 to 10 minutes; tossing occasionally.
  7. Remove from heat when beans and garlic are crisped brown.

Serves 4 adults.

Do Ahead Tip: Steam beans 30 minutes to 2 hours before frying. Store in refrigerator until ready to cook.
