Hawaiian (Teriyaki) Chicken



Sauce Ingredients:



  1. Mix sauce ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
  2. Heat oil in a frying pan on medium-high heat. Add chicken and brown on both sides (approximately 5 minutes per side).
  3. Turn off heat and spoon excess oil out of frying pan.
  4. Pour soy sauce mixture over the chicken.
  5. Bring to simmer, turn heat to low with lid on.
  6. Simmer chicken on one side for 12 minutes.
  7. Turn chicken and simmer 12 more minutes.
  8. Serve over steamed rice.


Note: You can use any combination of chicken parts you like.
