Herbed Rice



  1. Heat oil in a frying pan on medium heat.
  2. Add onion and sauté until golden in color.
  3. Add garlic and fry for 1 minute.
  4. Add rice to pan stirring until a nice golden color; about 1 minute.
  5. Add spices and broth.
  6. Bring to a simmer.
  7. Reduce heat to lowest setting.
  8. Cover pan and simmer for 20 minutes.
  9. If you have some fresh parsley available throw it in during the last minute of cooking.


Makes 4 servings.
