Instructions

  1. Preheat oven:
    Standard Oven: 375°   |   Convection Oven: 350°
  2. Lightly grease cookies sheets and set aside. Click here to learn more about how to grease cookie sheets.
  3. Thoroughly cream butter and peanut butter.
  4. Add sugar and cream until light and fluffy.
  5. Add egg and vanilla and mix in.
  6. Add dry ingredients and mix until well-blended.
  7. Mix in chocolate chips.
  8. Spoon batter in loosely formed 1½-inch balls onto prepared cookie sheets spacing about 2-inches apart.
  9. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Remove from oven, cool slightly on baking sheets then remove cookies to a cooling rack.

What kind of peanut butter should you use? I prefer salty and crunchy for my cookies, but it is really personal choice.
