Spicy Roasted Chickpeas (Garbanzo Beans)


For  Single recipe    (Makes 1 cup)


  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Mix drained chickpeas, garlic, and spices in a bowl.
  3. Spread the chickpeas in a 13x9-inch oblong baking pan, or a 10-inch or 13-inch cast iron skillet.
  4. Bake, stirring often, until garbanzo beans are golden; about 30 to 40 minutes.
  5. Remove to a serving bowl.
  6. Serve warm or at room temperature.


What is the difference between garbanzo beans and chickpeas? They are the same!! Chickpea comes from Latin origins and garbanzo comes from Spanish origins.

This are great to munch on before dinner.

Spicy roasted chickpeas are a great addition to any green salad.
