Steamed Baby Carrots



  1. Pour 1-inch of water into a medium saucepan.
  2. Insert a steamer basket.
  3. Rinse carrots.
  4. Pour carrots into steamer basket.
  5. Bring water in saucepan to a simmer.
  6. Cover saucepan with a lid.
  7. Steam carrots for about 20 minutes or until easily pierced with a paring knife.
  8. Transfer carrots to a serving bowl.
  9. Add butter and toss to coat.
  10. Add salt and pepper to taste.
