Sweet and Sour Meatballs


For  Single recipe    (Makes 20 to 25 One-inch meatballs)

  1. Mix together meatball ingredients in a bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together ingredients for sauce. Set aside.
  3. Heat oil in a large frying pan on medium heat.
  4. Shape meat mixture into 1-inch diameter balls.
  5. Add to oil.
  6. Cook 2-5 minutes until lightly browned, turn and brown the other side.
  7. Add chopped carrots, peppers, onion, and pineapple to frying pan.
  8. Add sauce.
  9. Bring sauce to a simmer, turn heat to low.
  10. Cover and simmer on low for 45 minutes to an hour.
  11. Serve over steamed rice.
