Chocolate Holiday Bites

Ingredients
Melt in Saucepan and Add to Work Bowl:
- 12-ounces semi-sweet extra dark chocolate chips (1 bag)
- ¾ cup butter (1½ sticks)
Moist Ingredients:
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
Dry Ingredients:
- 2¼ cups flour
- 1½ teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
Mini Baking Bits:
- 11-ounces baking bits of your choice, see note in comment section (1 bag)

Preheat oven:
Standard Oven: 350° | Convection Oven: 325°
- Lightly grease cookie sheets; set aside. Click here to learn more about how to grease cookie sheets.
- Melt chocolate chips and butter on low heat, stirring constantly until smooth; immediately remove from heat.
- Pour melted chocolate and butter mixture into a large mixing bowl and allow to cool for 5 minutes.
- Add brown sugar, vanilla and mix.
- Add eggs and mix.
- Mix in dry ingredients, scraping bowl as needed.
- Add baking bits and mix in.
- Spoon batter in loosely formed 1½-inch balls onto prepared cookie sheets spacing about 2-inches apart.
- Bake 8 minutes. Do not over bake as the cookies should be just barely set when lightly touched. Cooled cookies should have have a moist, brownie-like texture.
- Remove from baking sheet and cool on a rack.

Makes approximately 4 dozen cookies.Note: Dough will be very moist and gooey when dropping onto cookie sheets but will mound up into nice cookies while baking.
