Chocolate Syrup

Cocoa, Sugar, Salt:
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ¼ cup sugar
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- Dash salt

(Makes 2 cups)
Cocoa, Sugar, Salt:
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ cup sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
Water:
Vanilla:
Instructions

Whisk together cocoa powder, sugar, brown sugar, and salt in a medium saucepan.
- Whisk in water.
- Bring to a boil; reduce heat to a simmer. Stirring constantly simmer for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Add vanilla
- Cool.
Comments
Store in airtight container in refrigerator for up to 4 weeks.Serve warm or at room temperature over ice cream.
To make chocolate milk or hot chocolate, combine 2 tablespoons syrup per 1 cup of milk.
