Grilled Corn On The Cob

- 1 ear of corn per person
- Vegetable oil
- Salt
- Ground black pepper

Preheat outdoor grill on high heat.
- Turn grill down to medium heat. Temperature should be 400° to 450°.
- Before grilling remove the husks and silk from each ear of corn.
- Pour a small amount of vegetable oil into the palm of your hand and rub onto each ear of corn.
- Sprinkle each ear of corn with salt and pepper.
- Place corn on grill.
- Using a pair of tongs, rotate each ear every couple of minutes so that entire surface of the corn browns nicely; about 10 minutes total cooking time.
- Remove the corn from the grill to a serving platter.
- Use a knife to spread butter over each ear of grilled corn.
- Serve.
