Instructions

  1. Preheat oven:
    Standard Oven: 375°   |   Convection Oven: 350°
  2. Lightly grease cookie sheets and set aside. Click here to learn more about how to grease cookie sheets.
  3. In a large mixer bowl. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Mix in eggs and vanilla.
  5. Add flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Mix well.
  6. On low speed mix in oats, raisins, and optional walnuts.
  7. Spoon batter in loosely formed 1½-inch balls onto prepared cookie sheets spacing about 2-inches apart.
  8. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes; until golden brown.
