U.S. Mixed Drink Measurement Notes: 1 Ounce = 2 Tablespoons (30 Milliliters)Recipe makes one drink.
Sarsaparilla bitters are more readily available than sassafras bitters and offer an almost identical taste palate.
Amaro means bitter in Italian. Amaro is an herb liqueur with an even balance between bitter, sweet, and citrus tastes.
Cinchona an ingredient in some brands of amaro is a tree bark that adds a bitter tannic astringency to amaro.
For this drink try to find an amaro with cardamom, cinnamon, bitter orange peel, and cinchona.
