Israeli Couscous With Garlic and Spices
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 cup Israeli couscous
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- ¼ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon thyme
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ⅛ teaspoon black pepper
Instructions

Heat oil in a medium saucepan on medium heat.
- Add garlic to saucepan and sauté until golden brown.
- Add couscous. Stir until couscous is lightly toasted.
- Add cumin, paprika, thyme, salt, and black pepper.
- Add chicken broth.
- Bring to boil; reduce heat, cover and simmer for 8 to 10 minutes.
