How To Shape and Bake Pan Rolls



  1. Prepare dough through first rise.
  2. Grease a rectangular 13 x 9-inch oblong baking pan; set aside.
  3. Shape dough into 24 smooth balls.
  4. Place balls in prepared pan in 6 rows of 4 each.
  5. Cover with a dry flour sack towel and let rise in warm place until almost double, about 1 hour.
  6. Preheat oven to 400°.
  7. Brush tops of rolls with melted butter.
  8. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Serve.
  10. Makes 24 rolls.


To reheat rolls, preheat oven to 350°. Wrap rolls in foil and bake for 5 to 10 minutes.
